The Osborne Reef Was Formed Back In The 70’S When A Tire Company Got A Contract With The City Of Ft Lauderdale To Install An Artificial Reef Made Of Used Tires. 2 Million Tires Were Banded Together And Dropped Off The Coast With Good Intentions Of Creating A New Reef Space. Unfortunately, With What We Know Now These Tires Have Leaked Pollution, Micro Plastics And Eroded Other Ecosystems. With Florida Being A Magnet For Tropical Storms, The Tires Have Shot Off From The Ordinal Band, Now Being Found All The Way From North Carolina To The Bahamas.

4Ocean Recently Received A Contract From The Florida Government To Start Helping Retrieve These Loose Tires. We Are Compiling Them, Shredding And Now Making Them Into The Osborne Reef Bracelet.
